Overview

The Santa Ana Unified School District, located in Santa Ana, CA, was preparing for a renovation of an existing campus to provide new classrooms and playgrounds for the preschool and kindergarten children. They knew they needed a surfacing company they could trust with high-quality, DSA-approved products and an excellent warranty. Safety is imperative with young kids, so a surfacing that could provide excellent safety features was a must. They chose SpectraTurf to work alongside Morrisey Architecture and Coast Recreation on the renovation project.

Working with an existing site is always a challenge, especially with a tight budget and schedule — but SpectraTurf’s seamless project management and experienced contractors and installers made it happen.

The end result is a fun and interactive surfacing design. The water droplet pattern encourages children to hop from spot to spot and the color scheme coordinates with the school colors and the surrounding architectural finishes.
